REQUIREMENTS: ↠ Activity Check must total to 15 comments for the character in question, and can be made in a variety of ways. One network- or log-based thread with 15 or more replies. Two network- or log-based threads with 7 or more replies each. If necessary, three or four threads can be used; however, the constant use of numerous shorter threads will not be acceptable. ↠ AC is required for all players. In the case of hiatus during the time of AC, a check-in must be made in lieu of AC requirements. ↠ A hiatus must be for two weeks or more in the month being checked in order to qualify for an automatic pass for AC. A two week hiatus spanning the last week of a month and the first week of the following month will not count. ↠ Players are expected to participate in the game: character squatting will not be tolerated. ↠ Not responding to Activity Check posts will be grounds for removal if it becomes a constant occurrence. ↠ Similarly, players found constantly scrambling for AC in the last few days of the month will be asked to reevaluate their commitment to City of Sin. ↠ Threads used for AC must be from the current month / month being checked. ↠ The AC post made at the beginning of each month is used to check activity throughout the previous month. For example, a post made in December will be used to check activity for the month of November. As such, all threads must be started in the month of November. ↠ Unless absolutely necessary, threads from months prior to the month being checked will not be accepted. This will be changed with the discretion of the moderators on a case by case basis. If players require a bye, they are invited to speak with the moderators in regards to the matter. ↠ In the case of a player missing AC - ie: not having enough replies across the board for a month - a ‘save’ may be requested. A save means that a player is required to have a minimum of 30 comments in the following month. ↠ Repeated hiatuses or saves may be grounds for removal from the game, at the moderators’ discretion. ↠ Leniency in the above matters may be given providing a player approaches the moderators and discusses the matter with them. This will not count if the moderators have to track players down for explanations behind absences.
